The artwork here, "Le Chapeau Epingle (Pinned Hat)", is a wonderful depiction of two women, one putting flowers in the other’s hat, that was created with acute detail, and vivid contrast throughout, making it one of the nicest pieces by Renoir we have ever made available. Also, the image measures approximately 4 ⅔” x 3 ⅓” with the sheet archival matted to approximately 5½” x 4¼” and 15.5" x 12.5" high-quality frame, the immaculate artwork is of impressive craftsmanship and versatile size. Finally, it has remained in excellent condition since being published in 1894, is signed in the plate in the lower left corner, referenced by Stelle as #8, and comes with a Gallery Letter of Authenticity.
