Aaron Bohrod (1907 - 1992): A Chicago born artist who studied there at the Art Institute as well as the Art Students League of New York and the Guggenheim. He received significant praise as a realist who also attacked social issues, thus the University of Wisconsin Madison was the perfect place for him where he stayed until 1973. The decorative and detailed works, that appear to be as real as live, have been on display in some of the most prestigious museums: Metropolitan Museum of Art, Whitney Museum of American Art, Art Institute of Chicago and many others, where they are revered by collectors and critics alike.

Frederick Carlton Ball (1911 - 1992): An American born artist into a family of other accomplished artist. Ball demonstrated his families talents from an early age, and by the time he was 12 he was exhibiting at the California State Fair. In downtown Sacramento, where he earned his B.A. and M.A. from California State University, there is a 6 x 62 foot mural on the side of a parking garage that took Ball nearly 3 years to complete with 1488 tiles. He had a very unique way about enameling his works that attracted critics and collectors alike. Today many of these works are still on display in many prominent institutions including the University of Wisconsin and Smithsonian Museum.
