Hand-crafted with a highly substantial weight of 9.2 pounds, it features a classic double-handled silhouette, a finely carved geometric emblem on the shoulder, and intricate concentric swirl patterns incised entirely by hand. The exterior boasts a matte, chalky white slip finish with subtle warm undertones peeking through, anchored by horizontal ribbed wheel lines around the lower body. Under a blacklight, the piece absorbs UV light uniformly with no fluorescent reactions, confirming its authentic, un-restored state. The piece sits on a raw, dark fire-marked flat base typical of traditional artisan kiln firing, completely free of any maker stamps or signatures. The interior throat is unglazed and beautifully raw. It makes a commanding standalone statement piece, perfectly complementing rustic Mediterranean, modern farmhouse, or curated wabi-sabi interiors.Dimensions: 13" H x 8" W x 8" DWeight: 9.2 lbsMarkings: Unmarked / Unsigned studio pieceCondition Report:Excellent original vintage condition with a solid, sturdy structure. Free of any structural cracks, deep chips, or hidden repairs. Features intentional surface distressing, a raw fire-marked flat bottom from the kiln, and a singular light cosmetic scuff on the lower body that reveals the underlying earthy terracotta clay (as pictured). This stable, minor surface feature is purely superficial and beautifully enhances the authentic, time-worn wabi-sabi character of the piece. See less
