A striking pair of vintage sculptural dolphin table bases in a Mediterranean design popularized in the mid to late 20th century. They're meant to support a single large tabletop, such as a glass dining table or console. They could be used individually to support a pair of smaller tabletops. The material is cast plaster, suitable for indoor use.
Each triangular table base measures 26" wide on all sides. The bases are 29" high. Included is a beveled glass top measuring 66" x 42".
The plaster bases have some chips consistent with age. The glass top has some scratches and paint splatters. The carving detail is crisp and clear. The bases and top are extremely solid and quite heavy.
