Sculptural “Isocèle” étagère attributed to French designer Max Sauze for Atrow, circa 1969. Its remarkably minimal construction pairs a slender black metal rod framework with five removable glass shelves, creating a geometric, architectural form with an exceptionally light visual presence.

The distinctive overlapping and offset framework is characteristic of Sauze’s experimental use of bent metal and glass. A matching example with the same design and 24"W × 59"H proportions is documented as Max Sauze for Atrow.

Structurally solid and in good vintage condition. The black metal frame shows age-appropriate finish wear, including scattered surface oxidation and areas of finish loss, as shown. Glass shelves are in good overall condition; one has a small edge chip that can be discreetly positioned within the frame.
