A beautifully crafted Chinese low table or display stand, likely made of Huali (rosewood). The piece features a rectangular top with a raised border and is supported by four elegant, curved legs. The top surface is exquisitely decorated with intricate mother-of-pearl (shell) inlay, depicting a lively scene of two birds perched amongst blooming flowers and branches, framed by a delicate scrolling vine border. A sophisticated piece for displaying teaware, scholar's objects, or collectibles.
