Operating during the height of the Arts & Crafts movement, their historic downtown flagship location (famous for its monumental Ernest Batchelder tile murals) sold these beautiful crates as premium 1-pound chocolate souvenirs.

The box features a charming, stamped illustration of a "Dutch Girl" on the lid, framed by decorative rustic wood slats and original metal hardware fastening. Inside, the lid reveals a second, highly crisp stamped version of the brand's logo and mascot. This piece is a fantastic crossover collectible, appealing directly to advertising enthusiasts, collectors of California history, and those who appreciate rustic Arts & Crafts style decor. Use it as a unique jewelry chest, a desktop organizer, or an accent piece on a bookshelf.

Good antique condition with beautiful, authentic age-appropriate patina. The California redwood has a rich tone. The stamped logos are clear and highly legible. The original hinges are securely attached. Please see photos for minor surface scuffs consistent with its 100+ year age. See less
