Extraordinary French Art Nouveau coffee table or small centre table with a round white Italian Carrara marble top and a sculptural wrought-iron tripod base, French, Late 19th century.
The circular Carrara disc shows soft gray veining and a beveled edge. It rests on three solid-iron scrolled legs, each overlaid with acanthus leaves that unfurl into the feet. The legs join at the center in an acanthus-bud cluster, with upper scrolls supporting the stone. The iron has an even aged patina that gives the base depth and character.
Elegant from every angle, and usable indoors or in a covered patio or garden. The marble top lifts off the iron base for easier handling.
Dimensions: 21.5" H × 32" diameter. Iron base approximately 26" wide.

Condition notes
Good, sturdy condition. The iron base is sound, with an attractive weathered patina and no structural issues. The Carrara marble top has no stains, chips, cracks, or repairs. Wear is limited to age-appropriate surface patina on the iron.
