Inspired by the wonderful colors of sunset and the bright colors of nature. I found myself looking at the grass swaying in the breeze this past summer. I was more in tune with my surroundings and couldn’t help but transfer it onto the canvas. At the same time I was going through a time of grieving the passing of my labradoodle Bonnie. It was a way of healing by letting the good memories of her take over the sadness in my heart. In the end, nothing but gratitude was all I could feel towards this piece.
Acrylic on raw canvas. 36x48
