Pair of antique black-and-white photographs documenting a rare San Francisco snowfall, with views of a Victorian residence and the surrounding neighborhood. One photograph captures the home and snow-covered streetscape, while the other includes figures standing outside in the snow.
A handwritten note identifies the property as 989 South Van Ness Avenue, formerly 2449 Howard Street, in San Francisco’s Mission District, giving the photographs a wonderful connection to the city’s architectural history.
Presented in matching vintage wood frames with a warm mahogany-toned finish and delicate beaded detailing.
Photographs: 11" × 13.5" each
Overall framed dimensions: 12.5" × 15" each
