Brimming with vibrant cultural symbolism and rich color, this completely hand-executed original work on paper features the classic "Continuous Abundance Year After Year" (Lian Nian You Yu) motif.

It beautifully depicts a charming, expressive chubby child embracing a magnificent, oversized cinnabar-red koi fish alongside a blooming pink lotus blossom—a timeless visual blessing for prosperity, joy, and fortune.

Unlike mass-produced commercial prints or modern offset lithographs, this piece showcases true artistic pedigree under close inspection. Every line is hand-inked, featuring exquisite variation in brush stroke saturation and delicate, layered gouache and watercolor washes that bring a luminous depth to the child’s features and the brilliant scaling of the fish.

Framing & Presentation:
The painting is beautifully showcased in a premium custom presentation, float-matted with a striking imperial orange accent border that masterfully echoes the vibrant tones of the artwork. It is housed behind protective glass in an elegant, vintage gold-gilt faux-bamboo wooden frame that offers an unmistakable Hollywood Regency flare. The reverse side features a completely pristine, professionally sealed kraft paper dust cover, felt wall bumpers, and heavy-duty hanging wire, making it absolutely turnkey and ready to grace a designer gallery wall or anchor a chic entry console immediately.
