The chair features a shaped crest rail, slender side supports, curved rockers, and a warm dark wood finish. Its proportions and low seat height suggest that it was made as a child's or youth rocking chair rather than a full-size adult rocker.

The seat is upholstered in a dark blue patterned fabric. The chair was last reupholstered in 2009 and is in great condition for its age. Minor surface wear is consistent with age and normal use.

A charming accent piece for a nursery, child's room, reading corner, or collection of antique children's furniture.
