(Newark, Ohio). … Read more An exquisite turn-of-the-century Victorian antique berry bowl / sauce dish crafted by the renowned A.H. Heisey & Co. (Newark, Ohio). This piece features Heisey’s celebrated No. 1220 "Punty Band" pattern, originally introduced in 1897. This Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG) collectible showcases a beautiful combination of a crystal-clear pressed base and a rich, vibrant ruby-stained crimped rim. The body is intricately detailed with a horizontal band of delicate concave "punty" thumbprints situated beneath a row of fine glass beading. The bowl is fully authenticated and features the highly sought-after, raised Heisey "Diamond H" maker’s mark molded directly into the clear glass center on the bottom of the bowl. See less

There are a couple of very small chips on the rim, which are not visible and can only be felt if running your fingers along the rim.
