The style is characteristic of the Eastlake movement, popular from approximately 1870–1890, which emphasized strong architectural lines, geometric ornamentation, and quality craftsmanship. This piece displays many of those hallmarks, including incised and carved detailing, circular drawer medallions, stepped molding, decorative side supports, and the elaborate pediment above the arched mirror.

The warm wood finish contrasts beautifully with the light marble top. The mirror assembly adds substantial visual presence, with small side shelves and carved architectural details that make the dresser as decorative as it is functional.

An excellent statement piece for a bedroom, dressing room, entryway, or other space where authentic Victorian character is desired. Its combination of marble, carved woodwork, and an unusually dramatic mirror makes it especially appealing for collectors of Eastlake and late-Victorian furniture. See less
