Created and signed by artist Lynn Wright in 1973, this piece masterfully depicts a solitary figure wrapped in a rich emerald green coat, weathering a heavy downpour beneath a large, dark umbrella.
Wright employs a highly textured, expressive brush technique to render the falling rain and snow against a muted, atmospheric background.

The composition offers an intriguing, anonymous narrative that brings both depth and a sense of quiet introspection to any space.

Housed in its original dark-stained wood frame featuring an elegant inner gold/gilt border, this painting is a perfect styling piece for modern, transitional, or eclectically curated interiors.

An exceptional find for collectors of 1970s regional American art and narrative impressionism.
