Gargiulo & Jannuzzi emporium.
This piece features an ingenious mechanical engineering design rarely seen in standard Sorrentine woodwork. The central core showcases an integrated, smoothly rotating Lazy Susan encircled by a continuous geometric multi-wood inlay pattern. To expand the piece, the outer crescent borders seamlessly slide outward along precision internal tracks to accommodate a perfectly calibrated, removable wooden insert. This allows the user to expand the surface area while keeping the central turntable fully operational.
The underside features the original, authentic gold foil showroom label from A. Gargiulo & Jannuzzi, while the front features the inlaid signature "Luigi Leone" seamlessly integrated into the lower edge of the central medallion wood grain.
Notably, the pristine underside shows absolutely no evidence of historical leg brackets, screw paths, or scarring.
