Eight scrolled arms in hand-painted cream and gold leaf scrollwork radiate around him, with rosette candle cups and white candle sleeves. Marked "ART 004 Made in Italy" on the canopy — a genuine Italian piece, circa 1940s–60s.
The monkey detail is what makes this one collectible: singerie pieces are a hallmark of Hollywood Regency and Palm Beach-style interiors, and genuine Italian examples are increasingly hard to find. A joyful statement over a dining table, in an entryway, or in a maximalist bedroom or bar.
