Originally used to store bread or baked goods, this rectangular lithographed tin features an incredibly unique, heavily distressed history. The outer layers showcase a beautifully chippy cream-beige paint, which naturally flakes away to reveal the box's original hunter green undercoat—creating an exceptional, multidimensional patina that cannot be replicated. The box features its original central metal pull knob and a charming cluster of punctured ventilation holes on the front face.

The underside is proudly stamped "MADE IN U.S.A." Whether styled as a tabletop prop in a country kitchen, used as unique shelf organization, or integrated into an industrial vignette, this piece offers the perfect "crusty" vintage character that interior designers crave.Condition: Distressed / Rustic. Significant original wear, paint flaking, surface rust, and residue consistent with its age and utilitarian history. Structure is sound. Sold as-found to preserve its historic patina.
