Oil painting on canvas laid down on board of three women dancing on a barge while being tugged along the River Cam by a gentleman in the distance, approaching the Mathematical Bridge at Queens College, Cambridge.
I paint in the traditional style of old masters because I am drawn to the charisma of that era. For me, creating art is a patient ritual. At the heart of my process is the careful preparation of the painting surface. Ultimately my goal is for the person viewing my work to experience a pause, a moment to reflect.
Satori’s paintings are widely collected both nationally and internationally.
