Villeroy & Boch ceramic cheese dome and underplate. Crafted in the highly collectible "Dresden" pattern, this rare piece features a vibrant, hand-painted motif of rich red poppies blooming from delicate, stylized green thorny vines. The crisp white earthenware and beautifully detailed scroll finial on the lid make it a standout centerpiece for any vintage collection or high-tea service.
Dating back to the late 1800s the backstop on this piece locates its production to this time period. And this pattern beautifully highlights Villeroy & Boch’s historic craftsmanship from the Dresden region. Perfect for serving fine cheeses, butter, or artisanal spreads.
