This pair of vintage Chinese cloisonné enamel figures depicts dynamic bulls in mid-charge, masterfully rendered with rich crimson, turquoise, and deep blue floral and cloud scroll motifs set against polished gilt-bronze wirework. Each muscular animal features finely textured gilded horns, hooves, and sweeping tails, with one foreleg dynamically elevated to create a sense of intense motion. The figures are securely mounted atop tapered rectangular bases decorated in vibrant turquoise enamel filled with intricate scrolling patterns, while the heavy flat brass undersides reveal the traditional hand-finished construction of the metalwork.
