About the Piece

This Limited Edition “Chinese Lantern” vase, issued in 2006 in an edition of 200 pieces (52/200), features brilliantly colored lantern motifs in turquoise, red, and gold against a deep black ground. The design is executed in Moorcroft’s signature tube-lined technique, creating raised outlines that add texture and depth to the flowing composition. The elegant 11-inch baluster form enhances the vertical movement of the pattern, giving the piece strong visual presence. Fully marked to the base with impressed and painted marks and signed by the artist, it represents a refined example of early 21st-century Moorcroft artistry. See less
