An ink drawing by the American artist William Itter (1942-2025). This abstract work depicts a collection of biomorphic designs using curved lines and organic shapes. Unsigned, the drawing is displayed in a black frame and a white mat. From the artist's estate, the drawing has an artist tag attached verso.
William Itter was an artist, philanthropist, award-winning art educator and collector, who made an impact on hundreds of students during his 35-year long tenure at Indiana University. His wife, Diane Itter, was also a painter, as well as a textile artist. After her passing, he opened the William and Diane Itter Object Study at the Eskenazi Museum of Art, where he donated his collection of art and memorabilia.
