Exceptional oversized vintage wall-mounted decorative spoon by Dart Industries, model #3476, dating to approximately 1972. The piece features an elaborate Rococo-inspired design with scrolling acanthus details, floral ornamentation, beaded accents, and a rich antiqued gold finish.
Measuring nearly 28 inches long, this dramatic sculptural wall accent makes a striking statement displayed vertically in a dining room, kitchen, entryway, or eclectic gallery wall. The piece is characteristic of the theatrical Hollywood Regency and maximalist decorative style of the early 1970s.
The reverse is marked “Copyright MCMXXXII Dart Ind. 3476.” This model is commonly identified as an oversized decorative wall spoon/ladle and was designed to accommodate a separate planter component.
