Theodore Alexander Eglomosie Mahogany Two Drawer Center Table
Dimensions : 36" Round X 30" Tall
A striking Theodore Alexander Eglomisé Center Table, showcasing the exceptional craftsmanship and decorative detailing for which the maker is known. The generously proportioned round top features a rich, highly figured warm mahogany-toned veneer, with dramatic book-matched grain patterns that create an eye-catching, almost symmetrical design.
The table is beautifully accented by an ornate gilt eglomise apron, incorporating decorative classical motifs and contrasting beautifully with the deep wood finish. The architectural base features turned and tapered legs, decorative corner elements, and a lower oval shelf finished in matching figured veneer.
Its substantial scale and sophisticated traditional styling make it particularly well suited as a center table in a formal living room, foyer, library, or grand sitting room. The combination of figured wood, gilt accents, and classical detailing gives the piece an elegant, collected-estate character.
