Vitreous porcelain 6 Cup Tea Pot. This is the Pink Rose pattern that features a raised-relief flora spray. hand-painted with a pink rose in the center. This is the smaller Tea Pot in this pattern but very good sized at 6 cups. We also offer the rare 8 Cup Tea Pot, the rare Coffee Drip Purcolator, a second 6 cup Tea Pot and a covered sugar in this pattern in our shop at the time of listing. Porcelier used porcelain to craft items that were finished in a glossy enamel to create a dense heavy china that was tougher and more durable. This is called Vitreous china. This pattern was produced as the last run at the East Liverpool, OH factory before operations were moved to Pennsylvania in 1931. Only this 6 cup Tea Pot was produced in later years in PA. We estimate this is from the 1940s. The company closed in 1954.
