The naïve, folk-art-inspired composition centers on a brilliant blue vase set against a vivid pink ground, with a small arrangement of fruit adding another playful detail at the base. The painting is set within a substantial wood frame painted in warm gold, creating a wonderful contrast with the intensely colorful artwork.

Unsigned and attributed to an unknown artist. Based on its materials, construction and aesthetic, the work appears consistent with the mid-20th century, likely circa 1960s–1970s.

A particularly charming small-scale original for a collected gallery wall, layered bookshelf or maximalist interior.

Measures approximately 6” W × 6” H × 1.5” D.

In very good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. The painted wood frame retains visible surface rubbing, small finish losses and marks. Older paper/tape reinforcement and hanging hardware remain on the reverse. Please refer to photographs for full condition. See less
