An expressive pair of hand-formed sculptural studio art glass vessels, crafted in Central Europe (Czech Republic) during the 1980s.
Formed from thick, multi-layered mouth-blown glass using complex inclusion techniques. Dynamic bands of warm amber, pistachio green, terracotta, and opaque white create a marbled, agate-like mineral pattern, interspersed with suspended glass confetti flakes.
The set comprises a tall, sinuous vase with an undulating organic neck and a complementary low-folded vessel. Unsigned studio pieces representing the experimental, free-form movement of late 20th-century European studio glass. Exceptional as sculptural focal points for high-end modernist and organic interiors. Both pieces are structurally sound and free from chips, cracks, fleabites, or internal cloudiness. Display fine artisanal studio characteristics, including hand-ground bases, polished pontil marks, and minor organic surface.
Dimensions:
• Tall Vessel: Height 33 cm | Diameter 14 cm
• Companion Piece: Width 12 cm | Depth 33 cm
