Beautiful matching set of five antique 1847 Rogers Bros. silverplate three-tine specialty forks in the ornate Berkshire pattern, introduced in 1897. Berkshire features elaborate raised scroll and foliate ornamentation surrounding a polished central reserve, with a distinctive small shell/fan motif at the rounded terminal. The pattern dates to 1847. Set produced by 1847 Rogers Bros./Meriden Britannia Co. Silverplate, not sterling silver.
These attractive three-tine pieces are a specialty fork suitable for use a pickle/olive, fruit, appetizer or dessert forks.
