Lovely textures and colors and most importantly, a perfectly Americana Modernism piece for wall display as art. Stretched on a custom poplar wood frame and strung with hanging wire en verso for display upon receipt.

We are in love with our ever-growing collection of stretched quilts. CONTEXTvintage has created a very nice vintage stretched quilt collection, which has received a warm welcome from some of the best and most published interior designers for the Round Top Antiques Fair in Texas, and because they have been so popular, we will be posting more of our collection on 1stDibs soon!

While we enjoy quilts as blankets, (ours can be removed from the stretchers, by request) we happen to love them even more when they can be viewed in their full glory as wall art. They're wonderful on beds, but even better when the amazing craftsmanship can be appreciated on a daily basis by all who pass through the spaces where they are displayed.

This piece is so graphic and striking with its repetitive pattern; we have found ourselves entranced just as much as we would with a modern abstract piece of art, which is exactly why we feel these are so fantastic when wall-displayed. See less
