Large, rectangular tray by Couroc of California with Monterey Cypress Tree motif (circa 1960s).
Signed SFB Morse (Samuel Finley Brown Morse) who was an environmental conservationist and developer of Pebble Beach who owned and preserved vast acreage on the Monterey Peninsula.
Composed of a black lacquer phenolic resin (water, burn, stain, and detergent resistant plastic) with wood, stone/shell, silver, and brass inlay.
Very good, vintage condition with only minor wear consistent with age/use (a few light scuffs mostly visible in direct sunlight).
Retains the Couroc manufacturer's foil label to the reverse.
