The textured glass beautifully catches and diffuses the light, creating a particularly decorative effect.
Each sconce has a warm brass-toned backplate with polished nickel/chrome accents, gracefully curved arms, and refined architectural detailing. The combination of the sculptural glass and mixed-metal construction gives these fixtures a sophisticated Modernist character.
They are reminiscent of Scandinavian designs from makers like Carl Fagerlund for Orrefors or Malmö Metallvarufabrik from the 1950s or 1960s.
