Preway manufactured heating, cooking, and household appliances, including stoves, furnaces, fireplace units, and related ventilation products.

The model features a streamlined conical body finished in vivid red enamel. Its broad, curved opening reveals a contrasting black-painted interior and lower tray, while a cylindrical collar with raised horizontal bands forms the top. The entire structure is elevated on a compact black pedestal base.

Its aerodynamic profile, sharply defined opening, and bold two-color finish reflect the influence of Streamline Moderne and emerging mid-century industrial design. The reduced scale suggests that the piece was created as a portable demonstration model for sales representatives or as a showroom display illustrating the form of a Preway stove, fireplace, furnace, or ventilation component.

With its sculptural silhouette and strong original color, the model functions equally well as an example of American industrial design, a piece of heating-appliance memorabilia, or an unusual decorative object.
