There is two different techniques used on those pieces the traditional needle point but on the birds the technique called petit point that is extremely labor intensive and use on high hand pieces . We believe the pieces to be early 18 hundreds but possible from the 17 hundreds . The size is convenient and gives many possibilities of use 77 L on 11 W . Wonderful witnesses of the past they can bring a charming touch of elegance from when the beauty of nature was appreciated every where .
