A whimsical piece of vintage Italian majolica, this sculptural ceramic tureen takes the form of a ripe melon adorned with winding turquoise vines and dimensional leaves.

Hand-painted in vibrant shades of golden yellow, deep green, and turquoise blue, the piece features a richly textured surface with delicate reddish-brown speckling. Its rounded, ribbed silhouette is topped with an elaborate lid featuring a looped vine handle and raised botanical detailing.

The contrast of the colorful glaze and organic sculptural form makes this an eye-catching addition to a kitchen, dining room, or collection of vintage Italian ceramics.

Perfect for displaying on open shelving, a kitchen island, or a dining table, this charming piece brings a touch of Mediterranean character and playful sophistication to any interior.
