Pair of tall figural/biomorphic table lamps supported by painted gold wooden plinth bases by Clifford C. Stasack (ca. 1940s, USA).
Sculptural hand-carved/painted hardwood male and female nude figures with the same stance - one hand is raised with the palm out, the other is resting by the subject's side (a positioning reminiscent of a Buddha meditative pose).
Impressive, organic, textural forms with attractive pops of teal intermingled with the richness of the tan-brown hardwood.
Very good, vintage condition with light nicks/scuffs as shown along with patina to the brass stems. Newly re-wired. Shades are for demonstration only and not included.
Carved "Stasack" signature present to the reverse of both lamps.
