Wide wood planks are reinforced with dark metal banding, decorative corner protectors, twin front clasps, and a prominent central lock assembly. The hinged lid opens to reveal a spacious unfinished wood interior, making the piece useful for blankets, linens, or general storage. Years of wear, oxidation, scratches, and variations in the wood create an authentic timeworn patina. Its flat top also makes it particularly well suited as a rustic coffee table or decorative storage chest. See less
