Crafted with an elegant fruitwood or walnut frame, the design showcases the quintessential elements of the Rococo movement, including sweeping cabriole legs adorned with delicate floral knee carvings, scrolled feet, and a beautifully curved serpentine apron.

The backrest features a highly detailed, romanticized pastoral scene (fête galante) depicting 18th-century courtly figures socializing in a manicured palace garden near a classical pavilion. The woven tapestry upholstery is remarkably well-preserved, showing exceptionally vibrant colors, tight stitching, and no notable pulled threads, staining, or major wear to the pictorial scenes. The carved wood frame exhibits a beautiful, warm luster with very minor surface scuffs and light character marks to the legs consistent with gentle use and age. All nailhead trims are intact, tight, and securely in place. less
