Hello, this is the operator speaking how may I help you? This original 1930's industrial telephone switchboard operator's swivel chair by Western Electric is classic Americana cool. A great industrial piece with character and history. This chair is in great shape for age and still swivels nicely on its original mechanism for an adjustable seat height. The rattan seat and backrest are in need of some restoration while the metal frame remains sturdy and in good vintage condition. Original manufactures label present. The perfect chair for your shop or studio environment.
Our dedicated restoration and upholstery workroom is available should you wish to update the fabric to something more bespoke that best suits your taste, style, or decor. We have several affordable fabric options available and COM is also welcomed.
