Each vase is of baluster form with a saturated powder-blue ground, punctuated by shaped white reserves delicately hand-painted with flowering botanical sprays in the famille rose palette. Smaller floral cartouches decorate the shoulders, creating a refined contrast against the intense blue glaze.
The porcelain bodies are enhanced by elaborate gilt bronze mounts, including decorative bands at the neck, sculptural bases raised on scrolling paw-form feet, and ornate covers surmounted by floral and foliate finials.
