A beautiful, large-scale decorative mirror in the Baroque style, featuring a densely carved gilt wood frame covered with continuous acanthus leaf scrollwork — flowing S-curves with full leaf detail running uninterrupted around the entire perimeter. The finish is a deep antique gold with warm brown undertones.
Acquired from a private Houston, Texas estate. The mirror glass is clear and in excellent condition. The frame is wood.
A striking statement piece above a mantel, console, or in an entryway. Works beautifully in Baroque, Hollywood Regency, French Country, traditional, and grandmillennial interiors.
