Monumental, life-size bust of antinous, executed in cast stone and mounted on a tall fluted column. The sculpture is based on the classical greek/roman sculpture tradition in which antinous was depicted as an idealized young man. Crafted in the 20th century as a decorative interpretation of a classical sculpture. The surface features a naturally weathered patina with localized discoloration and signs of age, befitting the character of the piece. Some minor damage spots here and there on the base.
