Vintage campagnolo shamal 12 hpw wheels circa 1996/97 with campagnolo record hubs and 8 speed cassette a very nice original … Read more Vintage campagnolo shamal 12 hpw wheels circa 1996/97 with campagnolo record hubs and 8 speed cassette a very nice original pair of classic campagnolo shamal aerodynamic road wheels dating from the mid-1990s. These are the highly distinctive polished aluminium deep-section shamal wheels, with the original period campagnolo and rainbow shamal graphics still present. They have the characteristic very low spoke count and polished campagnolo hubs that made the early shamal wheels such an iconic part of 1990s italian road cycling. The wheels are fitted with a campagnolo rear cassette as photographed and both retain their quick-release skewers. They are in good original vintage condition and have clearly been used, with the expected marks, scratches and general signs of age. The decals also show some wear. I have deliberately left them exactly as they are rather than attempting to polish or restore them. A particularly attractive wheelset for a period campagnolo-equipped racing bike, high-quality 1990s restoration or simply for a collector of classic italian cycling equipment. The hubs are the original campagnolo record as mentioned with a 8 speed cassette, the tubular tyres are veloflex servizio corse press bar 7/10 i've spun both wheels, they look to be straight and true with no hops or up and down movement, the hubs are smooth as silk dimensions height: cm width: cm depth: cm See less
