The Rosenthal "Donatello" china line is a historic porcelain form introduced by the German manufacturer Rosenthal between 1904 and 1910.Origins and DesignCreation: The "Donatello" blank form was designed around 1904 by Hans Günther Reinstein and company founder Philipp Rosenthal in Selb, Bavaria.Aesthetic: It emerged during the height of the Art Nouveau (Jugendstil) and early Art Deco transition periods.

Variations: While the Donatello form featured graceful, clean contours—sometimes smooth and all-white, or featuring subtle molded reliefs—it served as a canvas for various hand-painted or underglaze floral and gilt decors created by notable artists like Julius-Vilhelm Guldbrandsen.
I inherited these. 10 soup bowls and 10 saucers. 6 of the saucers have an additional gold circle in the center of the plate.
