The stand features a slender, rectangular design made of brass components, decorative turned finials, and a heavy cast-iron base with a high rim that serves as a drip tray. The upper section is divided into several compartments designed for storing umbrellas, canes, or walking sticks.
Particularly attractive are the decorative, spherical finials on the posts and the preserved natural patina of the brass surface, which gives the object an authentic character and a beautiful, antique appearance.
The base retains its original dark green finish, now showing numerous scuffs and chips resulting from many years of use. Signs of age, patina, and surface wear are all part of the character of this antique piece.
It is perfect both as a practical piece of hallway furniture and as a display piece in a collector’s, classic, or eclectic interior.
