The collection includes … Read more An impressive three-piece collection of massive Czechoslovak art glass designed by Ladislav Paleček for the Škrdlovice glassworks.

The collection includes a documented Model 7420/32 vase designed in 1974, together with a closely related second sculptural vase and a large matching bowl.

The documented Model 7420/32 vase measures approximately 36 and 32 cm in height and is characterised by its substantial elongated form and deeply modelled internal glass elements. The accompanying vase shares the same distinctive sculptural language, while the large bowl measures approximately 34.5 cm in length.

All three pieces are executed in exceptionally substantial light blue hand-shaped glass. Their considerable mass, organic forms and pronounced optical effects create a visually cohesive and highly sculptural ensemble.
