solid walnut, brass fittings, original casters—it's a complete piece, in its original condition, that hasn't sought to modernize.

the principle is simple and brilliant: four columns of shelves that rotate on their own axis, accessible from all angles without ever moving the piece. A brass knob locks the rotation—the mechanism is still perfectly functional after more than a century of service. The walnut has acquired that deep, dark patina of wood that has aged naturally, without stress. A few brass rods are missing from the ornamental structure—minor, honest omissions that affect neither its sturdiness nor its functionality.
the original casters still roll. This isn't just a piece of furniture. It's a collector's item that has stood the test of time for 125 years.
