Designed … Read more This antique pharmacy display case is the perfect complement to the pharmacy counter that recently arrived at the workshop. Designed to be wall-mounted, it offers 3.8 meters of storage space behind five pairs of doors—four glass, one solid wood. The interior shelves (14 in total) are adjustable with a wooden rack system, and a brass bar runs the entire length, originally used to support a ladder.

The oak veneer has a chip on the left side, a mark of wear that we embrace rather than try to conceal. Originally, this display case was used to store remedies, bottles, and medications in a hospital dispensary. Today, its scale and the vocabulary of materials make it a piece ripe for reinvention: open kitchen, pantry, shop, restaurant, hotel, or bar.

Combined with the preparation counter that originally accompanied it, it recreates the original ensemble. On its own, it already stands out as a statement piece, capable of structuring an entire wall.
