Vintage Italian ceramic vase in the form of a stylized fish, circa 1950s.
The sculptural body is finished in ivory-white glaze with hand-painted gold details. The playful fish form features large expressive eyes, sculpted fins, and a ribbed opening at the top.
The design is characteristic of Italian mid-century ceramic production and is closely related to fish-shaped ceramics produced in Umbria during the 1950s.
The vintage vase is in good vintage condition.
