Teak structure with four large drawers, a slanted top, and an open upper section with adjustable shelves. Designed by Bertil Fridhagen for Bodafors, Sweden, 1950s/1960s. Original hallmark present.
Designed by Bertil Fridhagen for Bodafors between the 1950s and 1960s, this teak bookcase combines a four-drawer base with an open upper section featuring adjustable shelves. Between the two sections is a slanted shelf, designed as a display shelf. The curved wooden handles, thin and rounded at the corners, discreetly complement the linear design of the fronts. The interior of the drawers retains the characteristic green background. The original hallmark "Bodafors – Design B. Fridhagen – Made in Sweden" documents the design by Bertil Fridhagen and the Swedish production of Bodafors. Good condition. May show signs of age. Please refer to the photographs carefully. This piece has an attribution mark,
